LONDON, LISBON & DAVID KOMA
London Fashion Week and Weekend are over and I am exhausted. And happy at the same time as I am full of new experience. The possibility to associate with creatives from the industry, journalists, buyers, PRs etc. is something priceless. As well as working @ David Koma's show on the backstage. Ah-mazing!

Simone Rocha was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1986. In 2008 Simone graduated with a BA in Fashion from The National College of Art and Design in Dublin continuing in 2010 to graduate from the acclaimed Fashion MA at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, London. Simone debuted at London Fashion Week, showing her S/S and A/W11 collections on schedule
with Fashion East. Topshop selected Simone as one of three Central Saint Martins MA graduates to have one-off designs stocked exclusively in their Oxford Circus flagship store. Simone was also chosen as one of Selfridges ‘Bright Young Things’ of 2011 and given a front of store window in Selfridges on Oxford Street London for the month of January to house her SS11 collection. Simone’s collections have generated great press recognition and gained her some of the most prestigious stockists in the world including Colette in Paris, with Colette choosing to house Simone’s AW11collection in their front window during Couture week this June. This September will see Simone launch a 6 piece capsule collection for Topshop, a design from Simone’s archive re-issued as part of Fashion East founder Lulu Kennedy’s ‘Lulu&Co’ range and Simone present her S/S12 collection as a solo catwalk show during LFW.

LONDON FASHION WEEK A/W 2012
I'm getting ready for London Fashion Week, where I'm so happy I gonna have a chance to work and be part of it. This season is going to be extremely exciting as Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney are coming back to London. So even if you don't have a chance to attend the show, you can come over to Somerset House just to feel the atmosphere around the most important fashion event in Britain. You can also still buy tickets for the shows during London Fashion Weekend (see here) I think I'm mostly excited about Tuesday 21st, when I will have a chance to work at the backstage of the show of amazing David Koma. Will keep you posted :)
