Valentim, apart from great imagination and extreme creativity skill is also a big personality and simply super sweet guy.
Right before his show I was wondering, how he gonna present jewellery designs on the catwalk, but he didn't disappoint at all. Started with the girl playing cello and followed with the models wearing only leather trousers and Quaresma's jewellery walking through the catwalk and taking place on the prepared black boards. That made a huge impression, especially combined with very dramatic music.
Jewellery itself, inspired by the "virus as the spreading of ideas and shapes" was also combined with the variety of materials. One of Valentim's goals was also to experiment with technology and create different ways of approach the same theme.
Valentim becomes definietely one of my favourite jewellery designers from now on.
