“This will be the biggest shopping extravaganza the web has ever see
n,” comments Dolly Jones, Editor of VOGUE.COM. “We successfully raised over £40,000 for charity in just six hours in November last year, encouraging readers to buy on the web via our blog which ran details of exclusive buys, and we hope to be even more successful this year as we undertake the initiative for a full week.”
VOGUE.COM will have great offers from brands including Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Topshop and H&M, and has partnered with Everyclick’s Give As You Live, in attempt to raise as much money as possible for charity. As well as offers, best buys, and limited editions, Cheryl Cole will unveil her shoe collection, while Burberry have some exciting plans up their duffle coat sleeves.
Every time someone shops during Online Fashion Week with VOGUE.COM, they can either nominate a charity they wish to support, or opt for the VOGUE.COM nominated charity, which this year is the Neuroblastoma Society, a UK-based charity that fights childhood cancer.
“This is a great opportunity to shop for a fabulous outfit for the Christmas and New Year party season, and also to do some Christmas gift shopping at the same time,” continues Dolly. “It will lessen surge of guilt out of buying that pair of boots, when you are giving to charity at the same time.”
